          But no one wants to point how cohesive this is if you're a black voter. Black people (esp black women and LGBT people) are the single most reliable voting block in the Democratic coalition by the numbers. But we don't fucking vote D because we like any of you

            Black people vote D bc if we don't and the Republican wins, black people experience actual violence. Through the school to prison pipeline, through slave labor in said prisons, through the war on drugs, the militarization of the police, bad infrastructure and on and on

              Democrats essentially use the violent threat of a Republican victory to secure 12% of the voting population every 4 years and then proceed to do jack shit when elected. And people just kinda accept that as the way things ought to be

                And it's more infuriating when white progressives and leftists will hand wring about how idpol alienates the "average" (read: white) "working class" (read: white) voter when the only reason any Democrat ever stands a chance is because black people put up with their own abuse
