      I was at a hardware store yesterday. A customer asked the staff if they were going to follow the bookstores and restaurants on my campus and close until further notice. The man replied "We better not close, I've got mouths to feed".

        My Canadian and French friends find it unthinkable that, in the US, COVID-19 testing still isn't universal, that healthcare isn't free, that sick leave isn't universal, that decisions are being made company-by-company instead of on a government level
