As he says this, an anti-lynching bill Tim Scott himself has endorsed, introduced to the House more than a year ago, STILL hasn't been passed the Senate

The bill doesn't even change anything, mind you. Hate crimes and murder are already illegal. It's entirely symbolic and it's had over 100 years of stalling and it's IT'S NIT FUCKING LAW

The original Dyer anti-lynching bill failed to pass in 1918 because of filibuster by Southern Democrats, who argued that lynching was a "response to rapes" that was best "left to the states"

Hey hey did I mention the strange string un unexplainable "suicides" that have swept the country since the George Floyd Rebellion started? I don't even need to go there, we saw the lynching of Ahmaud Arbery ON CAMERA

What the fuck is a police state that can invade the homes of black people and kill them on the mere suspicion that a crime somehow somewhere has maybe taken place, if not institutionalized lynching?

What the fuck is killing a man over a $20 transaction if not institutionalized lynching? What the fuck is killing an unarmed man who fell asleep at a drivethru if not institutionalized lynching?

And spineless, professional do-nothings in Congress are more interested in virtue signaling to white people about how America is actually a great and wonderful place somehow than facing reality

No but it's okay after we vote Joe Biden in everything will be better again. I'm gonna be sick
