      So we're clear: 1. New cases didn't spike immediately. They spiked weeks later. Actually, there's a famous clip of Ron DeSantis in May complaining that "They said Florida would be the next New York and we're not"... a few weeks before Florida became the next NY

    2. The places where cases have been rising have generally not been the places with the largest protests. This is because the protests are outside where masks and hand sanitizer are widespread. Opening bars, restaurants, and churches spreads the virus worse
