I will say though: I feel like criticism of The God of High School sort of feels like criticism of other things grafted onto The God of High School. As in, it's a shounen, Webtoon adaptation bankrolled by CR and people happen to be sick of shounen and not receptive to WebtoonsPermalink On twitter.com

For example, a common criticism of the show is that the characters aren't fleshed out, but the show's been doing a lot of character work? Episodes 3-5 especially do a lot to solidify who are mains are and what they want. So it's weird people write as if this isn't true.Permalink On twitter.com
