Since I was talking about it in the other thread, I want to make it clear that I don't hate social democrats or anything. I think because a lot of people were social democrats before becoming communists, they treat social democracy as the natural evolution from capitalism.On twitter.com

My experience is different. I was only ever a social democrat for a brief period of time as a teen, before swinging right and then left again. I was a neolib, then I really fell in love with UBI, then I realized that UBI isn't enough because the system is broken.Permalink On twitter.com

In addition, a lot of the people in my personal life who are radical but not out-and-out commies are radicalized by police brutality and systemic racism.
