      If the people have too much say in how to run their lives it becomes "mob rule" which somehow limits freedom for all. "The mob will make decisions for the majority at the expense of the minority" lol and what do you think an oligarchy does?

    We live under a system that has consistently makes decisions for a class that is the minority of the population. They say Republicanism respects "minority rights" yet it historically has just been used to stop social progress. Funny how that works
