@halalipop ... The survivability of these projects has much to do with the specific circumstances of each attempt, how much of a threat the project is perceived to capitalist powers, and if the project was able to build enough legitimacy among the people to resist counter revolutions...

@halalipop ... If you want to go even smaller we could talk about something like the CHAZ this summer. It didn't last for very long not because it wasn't a state, but because it didn't handle infiltration by liberals/the police well, and couldn't control the media narrative around it
