The situation in Guinea I think is maybe too complicated for a tweet. Chiefly, that political parties in Africa tend to be built as much around ethnicity as they are ideology. I don't want to 1:1 transpose the ongoing situation in Guinea onto the US.Permalink On twitter.com

I am bringing this up though to combat a kind of liberal chauvinism I've seen leading up to the elections in the US.
