      Why is that even allowed? Why do those in power get 2 months to decide if they feel like respecting what the people have decided? Because the Constitution as a document does not trust you to self govern. It gives the elites endless chances to correct you if you decide wrong

    Over 3/4 of Americans believe the stimulus checks should be increased. It passed in the House with a 2/3 bipartisan majority, but it won't even get an up or down vote in the Senate because a half dozen people don't want to.
