      Popularizing 50+ year old legislation that the left and right of every other country in the world can agree on isn't "advancing leftism". Selling people on "socialism" by telling them "socialism means we do capitalism" is not "advancing leftism"

        There are a lot of social democrats, online, who *think* they're socialists or communists or anarchists. And then they see these groups doing actual revolutionary activity and they go "wait guys we don't need to do any of this stuff to win!"

          Well it's like yeah. You don't need an independent communist party, militant trade union confederations, or decentralized mutual aid groups to get social democracy. We're not doing these things for social democracy tho so.....?
