        1. I can't call the PriConn game "based" or leftist in any real way, but I thought it was neat how the main conflict is basically cops and the military inventing problems in peace time because they would rather not be defunded in favor of other social services

        If it seems like I'm tweeting about PriConn less it's not because I'm playing it less. It's because the amount of grinding needed to access the story increases exponentially over time. It's legitimately not fun.

    The fantasy racism gets a solid C+. The main issues here are the general use of animal/human hybrids as a stand in for racial minorities, which is a big pet peeve of mine, and not specifying the insitutional ways minorities are discriminated against beyond "humans are mean"

      However, I do get the sense that there was more thought put into this story than a lot of anime. Like, this blows Re:Zero out of the water for sure in terms of politics that actually say things. Which is why it's above average (C+)
