      Whatever happened to Democractic People's Republic of Ethiopia? You don't hear about DR South Yemen anymore now do you? Is Mozambique still socialist? How about Angola? Cuba, Vietnam, China, and North Korea have had to embrace markets and reverse progress to not fall apart

        Historically, it kind of seems that any small socialist project would need to navigate around larger powers to survive. This isn't a deficit of any one ideology and is perfectly expected. But very online MLs and Dengists will, like, skip right over it lmao
