    1. When I worked retail at an art supply store in high school I'd constantly give customers discounts I wasn't supposed to. Like people's coupons would be expired so I'd manually take money off of people's totals at the register. @TerranSocialist/1360912989042450437

    I wasn't even a leftist back then. My bosses did this incredibly stupid thing where they gave us these little scanners that would show you (among other things) how much the store bought something vs how much they were selling it at.

      "Expensive" art markers that they sold for like $25 the store bought at like $0.80 a pack. NUTS. I got paid minimum wage, they never registered me in the computer so I had to sign in by hand and my paychecks were late. They never trained me so I never knew where things were.

        And after all that my manager would have the audacity to go "Make sure you're not giving out too many coupons. We're a business we have to make money 🥺" lmaoooo nah Thankfully I didn't exactly need the money so I quit before long
