    @thechillazn1 @RebelPanda_ By "thematically consistent" I mean serves its theme well. Yasuke's theme is what it dubs the "old way", as represented by the Daimyo system, and the "new way" represented by Yasuke's mentor, in which former servants can become just as successful as everyone else

      @thechillazn1 @RebelPanda_ The show, through its two main villains and its use of history, focuses on this core idea from start to finish. It's kinda meh for a theme imo but it doesn't... not work. Also what's wrong with liking flashy fights and explosions? Are we against fun now?
