    @roguecogue Right. Another thing to keep in mind, Hamas isn't just the military resistance stuff. Through zakat (Islam's religious charity) they run all the social services in the city, as well as basically every hospital (1/2)

      @roguecogue In a city where 97% of the water is unsafe to drink, people are injured regularly from IDF attacks, and a decades long blockade has ground the economy to a halt, a lot of Gazans "support Hamas" because they'd starve without them. (2/2)
