      Cleanliness is very important in Islam. You can't pray unless you wash your body in a special way. You're not even supposed to go to mosque if you have bad breath or body odor. You can't fart during prayer or go to the bathroom in the middle without washing yourself again.

    In other words, by spraying this stuff all over Al-Aqsa itself, the IDF has rendered the entire mosque unprayable, Islamically speaking, for as long as the smell persists, which, apparently, can be days. Idk if actual prayers will stop bc of this but think about what that means
