This article is fucking stupid. It argues at one point that Cuba had a literacy rate of 80% of the 50s and 100% today, but El Salvador had a literacy rate of 40% in the 50s and 88% today. This is a country that manufactures everything by itself due to US sanctions. The article complains that Cuban hospitals often lack supplies. What would the hospitals of Ohio (same population) look like if it was not allowed to trade with any other country on Earth? Probably not great. And Cuba still has better and more equal health outcome than the USOn twitter.com
