      But etiquette kinda stopped mattering. Like it mattered when Boomers were young but stopped mattering in their lifetimes. But the Boomers couldn't stop doing it because of the generational trauma. So they taught that stuff into their kids 2/

    The later generations do not remember a time when etiquette mattered, and were only ever half-taught this stuff by people who yelled at us out of habit/trauma when the PTSD flared up. And now we don't get why elbows on the table is bad or where the dessert spoon goes 3/3
