Unfortunately, he tends to say things that are factually correct. Yet he remains wrong. Scientists stumped
-
Lelouch maneuvers them into a situation where they'll all die unless they do what he says, without given them the intelligence they need to navigate through the battle. This is coercion, but I don't think the writing sees it that way
-
Raghava points out - this entire episode would make more sense if it was about the JLF and the Black Knights forming an alliance. But the anime can't do it because it's obsessed with Lelouch being the only one who can save everyone 1/2
-
so we get what amounts to a very dangerous bullshit publicity stunt instead 2/2
-
We've been having a lot of back and forth on the weirdness of purebloods in the story, but it's mostly military stuff for now so not too much to report
-
colonialism got woke
-
Code Geass's great man obsession removes the tactical aspect of the show's military fights. Compare this with how LOGH, even though it has genius tacticians, still makes sure every army unit is more or less as valuable as any other.
-
that's actual dialogue btw
-
Cornelia calls Kallen "low-born scum" and it's interesting because she's half Britannian. Not to argue that mixed people don't face racial oppression, but this this line would work so much better if Japanese people were in the leadership position of the Black Knights
-
I admit the fights are pretty cool when Suzaku isn't around and when Lelouch isn't mind controlling people
-
We're comparing Suzaku with JJK's Gojou Satoru. Gojou Satoru is an incredibly powerful entity that turns the tides of fights, but he can't be at every fight all the time. Also, JJK has a much smaller scale and the two don't serve the same story function

Raghava has left me for the night so the rest of my thoughts are my own only
