      The strawman response here is "A cartoon from the 50s isn't going to make men rape" That's not the argument. The argument is that Pepe Le Pew is one of many pieces of media that normalized the idea that women's boundaries aren't that big a deal.

        That cornering a woman until she's uncomfortable is at worst awkward and a little funny, and at best kind of sexy and what women secretly want, actually. It's super obvious? Even 11 year old me pretty much understood Pepe Le Pew doesn't really hold up to modern sensibilities
